C85 - BTEC+DYN+PET
Cover in Black Technora® + Dyneema® + Polyester
Technical cover made up of an optimal balance of Black Technora® and Dyneema® fibers. This cover therefore combines the high mechanical characteristics of Black Technora (i.e. resistance to abrasion and heat with a melting point 500 ° C) with the excellent fluidity given to it by the Dyneema® fibers. The addition of coloured PET to the cover allows to diversify the lines by colour. For this reason it is particularly suitable as a protective cover (for boats of different sizes, both racer and cruiser racer) for all those lines characterized by frequent movements (e.g. sheets). Good resistance to UV rays.
USE: Protection Covers are ideal to protect the critical points where the ropes run at high speed, with continuous friction and heavy loading, i.e. to defend the exit points of halyards at the top of masts and on stoppers, to protect sheets and tackles on winches and all the running rigging subject to high stress.
The diameter must be read as diameter of the finished rope when the core is inserted.
